Riding Lessons

Equine Unlimited is pleased to offer hunter, jumper and western riding lessons for any age or level of rider. Master basic horsemanship with experienced and qualified instructors. Learn to groom, tack and ride on a well trained school horse or pony. Progress comfortably and confidently in a fun and supportive atmosphere.

It’s easy to find time for a lesson; we’re open year-round, 7 days a week. Private, Semi-Private and Group lessons are offered by Malinda Kregoski or from an Assistant Trainer. There are also two drop-in lessons each week. For ages six and above, we offer a Fun in the Saddle class every Wednesday evening from 4:00 pm to 5:15 pm and on Thursday’s join the “Ladies Lesson” (please call for time). Please note that we usually ride rain or shine. If the weather is or has been especially bad, please call to confirm.

In 2012 under Trainer/Owner Malinda Kregoski, Equine Unlimited, Inc. won it's 4th Grebitus Cup!!

Lessons: School horse, tack & helmet provided

Private: $65.00/hour
Private: $50.00/45 minutes
Private: $40.00/half-hour
Private/INTRO: $50.00/half-hour (additional support/instruction for a first time rider)
Group: $40.00/hour (per rider - three or more riders)
Semi-private: $40.00/45 minutes (per rider - two riders)

Fun in the Saddle

This is a drop-in, group lesson for beginning riders (Ages 6 and above). No appointment necessary. Both English or Western styles of riding are available. Learn to groom, tack, work from the ground, lunge and ride on well-trained mounts. Advance to lead changes, lateral work and show grooming. Helmets are provided. Please wear long pants (jeans preferred) and boots. Cost: $40.00 per lesson – offered every Wednesday evening from 4:00 pm to 5:15 pm.

Ladies Lesson

This is a drop-in, group lesson for adult riders. No appointment necessary. Both English or Western styles of riding are available. Gain confidence and skill through extensive flat work. Enjoy exercises that challenge both horse and rider, in a fun (we laugh ALOT) and supportive atmosphere. Improve your riding and enjoy learning with new friends! Helmets are provided. Please wear long pants (jeans or breeches preferred) and boots. Cost: $40.00 per lesson – The time and date changes for this lesson so please call Malinda at (916) 718-8662 for details.

Lesson Packages

Purchase lessons in blocks of 10 and receive a 10% discount. To purchase lesson packages using PayPal, please use the Second PayPal box below.
Packaged lessons can be split between family members.
